Barbara is a premier Counsellor and Hypnotherapy Practitioner. She started her career as a therapist in the voluntary sector in 1995. Barbara also spent 6 years in Primary Care as a practice counsellor in several surgeries in Rotherham. Her interest in mental health issues continues especially in anxiety states and depression an area in which she has had considerable success.

Barbara specialises in psychosexual therapy, relationship coaching and sexual addiction. She is a Relate trained counsellor and psychosexual therapist and continues to work with the organisation as a Practitioner under Relate License. Barbara also offers telephone counselling for those who are unable to attend face to face sessions.

Barbara's services are designed to meet the needs of individuals and couples seeking a private service on a fee-paying, self referral basis. Her aim is to provide a confidential, respectful, client-centered service which is accessable outside standard working hours within an anti-discriminatory framework and includes a comprehensive service for private, GP and work-organised referral. She has a recent Criminal Records Bureau (CRB) Disclosure and attends regular supervision.

Careful initial assessment would be used to identify issues outside Barbara's range of expertise or where the client(s) might be better served by specialised agencies. Clients must be 18 years or over.
